Enemy within

My rival, my enemy within, set me free oh wicked mind
The halls are full of broken souls, amidst the lost and found
Open the doors of which are many, to a room of light
Where sun and sky rule in harmony
Shallow graves of cynical victories, long buried alongside love
And love the word of paradise.
Branded and condemned to eternal slavery
The breath of life cleanses a stagnant flow, universe is two
Elevation to higher ground the seven wonders within be free at last
The third between the two, with vision to restrain and believe
My warriors can fight no more, brotherly death embodied in flesh
To east I stare from west betrayed, crusaders live your day

Light of dark

Road of horror lined with lust, ancient times upon us
Inquisition of illumination, church and God go separate ways
Devil’s advocate the holy power, where to go as flesh and blood
Batlles of mind and stars, gifted are the few, the energy weak
Pushed to zero level, oh the young be strong and cross
Good cannot rule, so the mass must die, castaway in meditational destitute
The cave awaits the hermit minds, golden one we sit before
Incense and flowers, a meal for all, pot of desire and broken dreams
Rise the skyline warriors once more, feed the strong for trees are tall
The green will heal the rotting core

Streets of Tragedy

Inspired by love I walk the streets of tragedy
Every corner a constant reminder of perpetual hurt
Hidden in shadows the digested refuge of indulgence
Bestowed upon carriers of death
Trust I seek in a circumvent red lit doorway
I compare it to a light house in tempest ignored by drunken sailors
A bawdy basement full of lascivious flesh
Mutiny I scream, as my morals abandon me
Abashed I rise in a spree of repent, I shall sin no more
Dark, obscure, the night turns away with deafened ears
My transparent soul is not worthy of pity or absolution
The deal at the crossroad has started to collect

The Pirate

T'was a dark winters night and the tide was high
The bells had rung and all was fine
beneath the docks a scream was heard
But no one dared to sigh a word
As legend would have on a dark winters night
A pirate would rise when the tide was high
Bring havoc and fear in the hearts of the young
He swore his vengeance before he was hung
A hook for an arm and peg for a leg
He hobbles the streets in search of a head
There at the gallows he swore he'd return
To haunt and harm to pillage and burn
As he was hung his head snapped off
Rolled through the ways and into a trough
His face grazed away and pigs ate the rest
The folk then raided his treasure chest
On a cold winters night when the tide is high
Snuggle up tight and close your eyes
Don't look in the mirror for heaven’s sake
For there he waits for a head with a face

The Stain

Vast the fields of green and gold, distant pastures of memories lost
I lay my love fore the feet of surrender, ravaged by emotional void
Tragic to the fruit of life, so many sorrows from days of fear
Beneath the earth to rot and fowl, but a child caught in crossfire moment
Where time would judge and heal the wounds,
winter winds in summer breeze forgot
Through air so thick and heavy, rain falls on encumbered stone
Wall of treachery and hate, blood stained fingers in power suites
The mass walks on, the dormant sheep, meat grinders filled to capacity
Slaughter the word of common mouth, fall freely from tightened lips,
Emotion deep, helpless I watch and cry for what I never knew

The View

I sat, we sat, I saw, the scarlet sky, splash of water, blowing sand, rocks,
The fish and memories, Shoals of both amidst fear and happiness
Angler on the shore, capture awaits, fish bites the fight begins
You’re mine I’m free, Jonas and the whale,
a feast for all till challenge bores
Darkness looms, skies grey, gone the light of inspiration
Horizons afar lost in setting sun, be blessed by all and blessed be
The heart and soul of eternal light, I sat, we sat, I saw.

You Stare

Run wild and free with wind and life, my praise to ones determination
From phoenix ash to endless skies, from deepest sea to highest peak
Where no man dares you held your faith, brilliant one for ever shine
I suffer deep beneath your eyes; the diamonds scar my naked flesh
You tread with pleasure with pointed shoes; no resistance the way is free
Like rivers’ flow so hard to stop, divided ways the forks give life
But where the wall holds back the flood, all good souls must come to rest
To pound and break would not be just, for spirits seek a peaceful road
I suffer deep beneath your stare
